Scott Carew, MPA

Scott entered the field of behavioral health after more than 25 successful years in municipal government.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from The College of New Jersey, and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Kean University.  

Scott's work experience includes serving as Township Manager for Moorestown and Eastampton townships in Burlington County, City Administrator for Woodbury in Gloucester County, and presently as the Borough Administrator for Matawan Borough in Monmouth County.  He is also an adjunct professor at Kean University in the Department of Public Administration.  Throughout his career, Scott has developed and implemented ways to provide services to the public in more cost-effective and efficient ways.   

Seeing both the tremendous need for effective and comprehensive behavioral health services, as well as the limited resources provided to the professionals in this field, Scott decided apply his abilities and experience, joining his wife to create Emerge Behavioral Health.
