Kaitlyn Vidal , MA, LAC

Therapist - in person & virtual

"Katie" earned her Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in LGBTQ+ issues from New York University, following a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wake Forest University. She brings over 15 years of experience in the helping professions, working with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse settings—including preschools, residential treatment centers, shelters, domestic-violence agencies, psychiatric screening centers, and inpatient admissions.

Her clinical training includes completing a practicum at Catholic Charities’ Providence House (supporting survivors of intimate-partner sexual abuse with a focus on trauma recovery, education and empowerment) and an internship at Youth Consultation Services Inc. (delivering individual, group and family therapy to children and teens in a residential setting). Katie also serves as a Crisis Responder for the Veterans Crisis Line and as a Crisis Worker at RWJ University Hospital Hamilton.

Katie believes the therapeutic relationship is the framework for growth and healing. She works collaboratively to tailor her approach to each client’s unique goals and strengths, drawing from person-centered, trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic methods, and a strengths-based mindset. She is LGBTQ+-affirming and supports individuals navigating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, as well as systemic and societal barriers.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Katie exploring coffee shops around Burlington County or blasting her favorite playlists with the car windows down.
