Joseph Jones, MS, LAC

Joe earned both a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University. He completed his graduate internship at Ascenda Integrated Heath (fomerly New Point Behavioral Healthcare) where he trained in their intensive outpatient program working with adults and providing both group/individual therapy and psychoeducation groups. He also holds a certificate in Child Advocacy Studies and is a member of Pi Gamma Mu and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies.

As a Licensed Associate Counselor in the State of New Jersey, he has worked as a behavioral assistant and currently serves part-time as an intensive community therapist for Greater New Jersey Creative Counseling providing in home therapy to children and teens as well as parenting skills training to their caregivers throughout Camden, Burlington, and Mercer counties.

Joe specializes in the treatment of children (ages 6 and up) and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges, skills and coping strategies training, and collaborates with parents and caregivers to mitigate and facilitate improved dynamics and functioning in the home among family members.

He joined Emerge Behavioral Health in 2023 and is excited to work with individuals and families of all ages in an outpatient setting.
