Bridget Taylor, MSW, LCSW

Bridget graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Lock Haven University in 2000. Her social work experience began with working with children and families, at risk adolescents, long-term care patients, hospitalized, maternal health, primary care, and pediatric community health patients. Bridget earned a Master's of Social Work degree from Rutgers University in 2013.


During her field placement she primarily focused on maternal and post-partum mood disorders. She received her clinical hours working with clients in community mental health, short term crisis stabilization program, and youth residential program for clients with cooccurring diagnoses. Bridget obtained her NJ LCSW in 2018 after completing her clinical hours and passing the LCSW exam. She continued her career within community mental health until joining Emerge Behavioral Health part-time in 2020 and full time in 2021.


Much of Bridget’s work is focused on postpartum issues, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma,

and significant life transitions. Bridget also works with couples on communication and conflict issues.

She integrates DBT, Mindfulness, trauma informed care, solution focused and client centered treatment

to meet the individualized needs of her clients. Her experience in social service and mental health treatment is a culmination of 20 years of experience in the healthcare system, youth programs, crisis management, and public health and working in community mental health organizations. Bridget holds certification in DBT treatment and Clinical Supervision.
